Quick and River combined is one of the best parts of working at Shopify. We have weekly demos and every now and then someone is presenting a new quick app that solves their problem and might help others.
With River it also means you can just keep prompting it while working on something else and have a working app with all edge cases resolved by the end of the day 💪

Got 2 things left on my list before I can ship Reshaped v4. One of them is rebuilding Button Group in Figma.
Previously I would just use buttons with overrides for the start/center/end button which doesn't work anymore since my buttons got more a more complicated shadow setup. So I'm thinking of recreating the group wrapper but use button instances with overrides inside.
Is that how you all are doing it as well?

I’ve just finished moving the library to slots and these were the features I was missing 🫡
No more slots gone wild
→ Set minimum and maximum layers
→ Only allow preferred instances
→ Display an empty slot by default
→ Set fill as default

This is the best moment to ask Figma design agent to check for any external variables / styles that you might have missed before. I'm finishing a migration in Reshaped and I have lost count of how much time it has saved me already 🙌
