The clip shows Anaheim Police Department officers apprehending a teen suspect trying to evade arrest for robbing a jewelry store. Anaheim PD said it will launch an internal use-of-force investigation into the incident. No ICE or other federal immigration agents were involved.

This family statement is absolutely devastating to read.
First, it should never have had to be written. The ease with which Trump’s admin takes someone’s life, and in this case a citizen, is disgusting and wrong.
Second, the fact that Alex’s family, while mourning, had to write an entire paragraph rebutting lies spewed is sad and speaks to the moral void of Trump’s team.

Island residents gathered Sunday at the Milestone Rotary as a winter storm arrived on Nantucket for what was described as an “emergency protest” by the organizing group, Indivisible Nantucket.
The protest was held “in solidarity with Minnesota and Maine,” the group said, and to call for the abolishment of the federal Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the aftermath of the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti during ICE operations in Minneapolis.
