The 5-year survival rate for #pancreaticcancer has increased to 13%, according to the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Facts & Figures 2024 Report, released today. 💜
This statistic has increased three years in a row — a promising trend that points to continued progress for pancreatic cancer patients. There is more hope than ever before, but there is still more work to be done.
We remain committed to our long-standing research priorities: To find an early detection strategy and accelerate treatments for patients with pancreatic cancer. We’re on the right path to achieve our bold goal of reaching a five-year survival rate of 20% by 2030. Together, we can make it happen. 💪
