Hot take, I don’t think 3 on 3 is as gimmicky as people think. These guys play 3 on 3 all the time. Over 20% of NHL games go to overtime. That’s 15 games a year they play this. They know the strategy, the risk, the plays. It’s not the same as 5 on 5 obviously but it’s not some random BS out of nowhere. They practice and prepare for this.

The winter classic has lost its magic. No one knows about it.. It just appears.
Make it feel special.
I believe part of that magic is having it being played on a holiday. It'll be on the background while you're with your family.

So folks at @espn are upset ND isn’t playing in a bowl game after weeks of folks politicking against the lack of conference affiliation, using them as a pawn for their CFB playoff selection show, having the ACC network play the UM/ND game on repeat for 48 hours during Conf Champ week BUT now it’s a bad look they don’t want to serve ESPN’s best interest by playing in an exhibition bowl game? Got it.
