You look at Labour this week and wonder if anyone in government is thinking straight.
Assisted dying back in Parliament. Labour MPs planning a “summer of sex”. Billions for cycle lanes while defence is underfunded.
It’s like the Labour students union is running the country.
Britain needs focus. Defence. Energy. Work. Security. Growth.
So I’m giving a speech at 11am today on how we solve the problem of Defence funding.
The Conservatives are doing the hard thinking because our country deserves better than gimmicks, drift and fatuous nonsense.

What if a child is having dinner with their parent who is single mum and who has returned home from a long shift. Whilst enjoying their dinner the parent suddenly chokes. The child panics. They grab their iPhone 16 and open TikTok for assistance. But it’s blocked. What then?

No joke, British people basically just have cheddar cheese as their equivalent deli cheese (whereas the US has American, cheddar, various -jacks, Swiss, muenster, etc). The only other cheese they really make domestically is various blue cheeses.

OP claims the only other UK cheeses besides cheddar are ‘blue’. This is factually incorrect. The UK in fact produces over 700 varieties of cheese, not just cheddar and blue.

Its hard think of a way you could be more wrong. We make a greater variety of cheese than France. And i tried american cheese once (only once!) - like chewing a piece of slimy cardboard but with less taste.

One of the most incredible aspects of the World Cup in the United States is what we DIDN’T have to do to prepare for it.
Qatar built multiple brand new stadiums, a metro system, roads, hotels, and entire districts.
South Africa built new stadiums, parking, etc.
Brazil spent billions on stadium and transit projects.
Russia built and rebuilt venues across the country.
Meanwhile, the U.S. was like: “We’re good.”
Like, we modified the playing surface in some stadiums and that was it.
The sport venue infrastructure in the US mogs every other country on earth and it’s not even close.
