House bill 1701 passes the Washington Senate unanimously. This billl provides a pension enhancement for police and firefighters of the LEOFF 2 plan. Off to Governor Inslee for his signature.

Substitute Senate Bill 5791, which provides a benefit to our LEOFF-1 members or surviving spouses, passed the Senate unanimously. Great work by the WSCFF legislative team to keep this bill moving. Half way there.
