Thousands of students caused major disruption at Patliputra Railway Station in Bihar after several trains carrying Bihar Police Prohibition Constable exam candidates reportedly ran late.
Angry aspirants jumped onto railway tracks and stopped train movement, demanding urgent arrangements to reach their exam centres on time. The protest led to significant rail disruption, with multiple trains stranded for hours late into the night.
The agitation continued for several hours before authorities persuaded the students to clear the tracks, restoring rail operations gradually.

Told a guy at the airport who broke the line, that there was indeed a line. First he pretended like there was no line. Then said I should complain to the airline. When I asked the lady at the counter why she didn’t tell him, she says “bola sir, kya karein, sunte nahi hain”. I told him to have some courtesy and some sense, so he proceeds to tell me I should go teach in a school, not him. Such folks travel abroad, and then give India a bad name!

On 22nd May 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the “redeveloped” Begumpet Railway Station in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The redevelopment cost a whopping Rs 38 crore and was part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) where existing stations were given a facelift.
After last night’s pre-monsoon rain in Hyderabad water was flowing through the ceilings and there was water logging everywhere.
Begumpet Railway Station which was built by the Nizams in 1921 worked perfectly fine for decades.
One “redevelopment” and it instantaneously transformed into a water theme park. Wah!

In this regard, an offence has been registered at the Nodal Cyber Police Station, Maharashtra Cyber, vide FIR No. 36/2026 U/s 75(1)(iv), 75(3), 294, 353(2) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 r/w 67 Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, against stand-up comedian Pranit More, Himanshu Jangra, Dr. Sejal Pawar, and other persons found involved, in connection with the publication and dissemination of allegedly obscene and objectionable content through online platforms and social media.

The @mybmc has imposed a meagre Rs 27 lakh penalty on the contractor of the 750-meter Mrinaltai Gore flyover extension, which took 8 years to complete after being commissioned in 2018.
Workers have been doing finishing work on the newly-inagurated flyover, levelling mastic ashpalt near drains an edges.
Alll this as the cost ballooned by 45% from the original estimate of Rs 170.82 crores to a massive Rs 248 crores.
During construction, the contractor was penalised on multiple counts. Time to blacklist these contractors. Ensure they do not bid after forming another company. 😡
