Just realized (watching Voyager) that in Star Trek they never say "Universe", only "Galaxy". So that means (with the exception of a few episodes) everything takes place in the Milky Way. 🤯

yeah the db connect is the issue -

On some requests the server begins to listen to requests before the db connection is established.
Take a look at the example here and how app.listen happens after connectDB in the callback:

So what is everyone using to host their full-stack apps now that Heroku no longer has a free tier? I have tried Render, but it is slow to load the site after downtime, and cyclic just goes down for a minute or so occasionally. Railway seems to run well but it is not truly free.

Does anyone have advice on how to draw out local web developers/engineers in your local area? I live in a very rural area and the closest meetup that I can find is 45 minutes away. I'd love to start one myself, I just don't know how to get people to see it.
