imho there is a mistaken idea that we need more ethics, we have plenty of ethics & ideas on principles. Most professional bodies already state them.
The missing link is the long-term hard effort of engineering systems to be trustworthy that embed our ethical principles/laws.

I am just floored by this news. We worked on some projects together. We last spoke just last week and was so excited about her upcoming book on policing. We joked about wine for the launch and she sent me a draft chapter for a read. I wish I had got to tell her it was brilliant.
