A wise man once said, "A picture is worth a thousand words, but MOTION can say what words never could." I've come to realize that if I want to see apps succeed, I must enter the arena. So, I'm joining @initia as the Growth Lead and unofficial Head of Motion. Here's why... I love apps, but most apps die the same way: a little liquidity, no genuine activity some initial hype, no retention. TVL and retweets won’t save you if no one uses the thing. The real unlock is activity. PMF comes from iteration. Real users trying real things, again and again. But most teams never get enough activity before attention runs dry. Initia has many cool big-brain elements, but in short, it’s an incentive layer and full-stack infrastructure framework for apps. For instance, with Initia VIP, builders get closer to PMF through iteration without burning through token incentives or nuking user attention, as VIP drives real activity. And with a customizable infra framework, apps get greater ownership of their end users from the beginning. Combined, it gives apps MOTION. We’ve seen past success stories: • Launch app • Incentivize activity • App does well • Build adjacent things users need • Done With Initia, it’s: • Launch w/ the adjacent things users need incentives • App does well • Done That’s motion. Motion is the currency of the future. With Initia's tech and the team's aura, Initia will become the hub of app motion. – from cedo <3

For the first time ever, Forecast offers the ability to gain real leverage on prediction markets. Instead of posting a dollar of collateral for a dollar of exposure, you get leverage on the probability itself. For traders, the same strategies that built perpetual futures into the deepest markets in crypto are now available for real world events. On Polymarket, France has a 67% chance to win their World Cup match right now. A two cent move to 69% is barely worth trading at 1x. At just 20x, that same move turns $25,000 into $40,000, a 60% gain. At 100x, it turns $25,000 into $100,000, a 300% gain. For the capital behind those trades, Forecast is a new source of yield. Supply USDC and earn from the demand for leverage across every market, without being directionally exposed to any of them. Your return does not depend on which way a market resolves. This combination is what sets Forecast apart: real leverage on one side, neutral capital on the other. When action is driven by the best information, true price discovery is achievable. Forecast becomes the place where probabilities are set, and where new information surfaces first. Forecast prices the future.

I would like to ask the married ct bros a question. During a marriage, do you think both people like each other equally throughout the marriage or is there always one person chasing the other?

If you committed your life to this idea of “decentralized finance” and then observe where we are today are you happy or sad? and what are you doing now?

When I spoke out against the Gaza genocide, a bunch of midwit VCs ganged up on me both in public and tried to hurt me in private too. Many of those who stood by me were also VCs. Just the better ones. Both morally, and in return profile. The best way to avoid sociopaths is to have them self select out of your life by standing for your beliefs.
I was once pitching in a board room at a top 3 VC firm for a $15M Series A. 12 people in the meeting. One of the GPs fully fell asleep. Out cold for 30 minutes. Nobody acknowledged it. Everyone just kept going. I kept presenting my Series A slides to an unconscious man in a Herman Miller chair and somehow that was considered normal. That's venture capital. You might fly across the country to perform for people who may or may not be conscious. It's a dance. And sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow and sometimes your partner is unconscious. If you're raising right now, just know: every founder has a story like this. The process is weird. The power dynamic is weird. You're not crazy for thinking it's weird. No one talks about it because they want to continue raising. But I'm happy to stick my neck out there. It is weird.

Robotics likely won’t have a “chatGPT moment” until we’re well into the industrial ramp for the next gen of automation, meaning you’re getting a nice opportunity to be long improving fundamentals right now and the catalyst of widespread attention is still waiting in the wings.

Kami is a great case study for what Initia is built for. Apps that own their stack, capture value, and turn real usage into real revenue. In just a year and with essentially no marketing spend, @kamigotchiworld is one of the top revenue-generating chains. Build with Initia.
Jun 2
the appchain we launched with 4 devs, $1.3m in funding and no marketing budget at all is currently generating more revenue than multiple L1s that have raised hundreds of millions in funding btw
