Correct, Bitcoin is hosted in our living rooms. The internet is not The more you explain the more clear it is that you don’t have an argument

Neither the spammer nor the fence-sitting camp seem to have a Mechanic or a Luke Dashjr that can articulate things happening in bitcoin with rational, non-ego driven thinking. I think that’s huge. #BIP110

this is the ideology that is currently eating bitcoin core: "rules are censorship!!"
BIP-110 enforces Bitcoin as money with rules not rulers.

Bitcoin has thousands of philosophers. Almost all of them are financial and societal. Mechanic is the only technical philosopher and it is ABSOLUTELY imperative that his rationale be heard.
People need to stop deferring to @giacomozucco for their opinions on BIP110. His stance is one long rationalization for inaction in a circumstance where it's deeply needed.

Every little bit helps. Don't let the pundits discourage or downplay your role. The community is made up of lots of individuals.

Couldn't agree more. We've done inaction and appeasement over the last few years, the data doesn't lie, shit has only gotten worse. Time to stop being cucks to spammers, Shitrea, Andy Back, fLopp, and whoever else that wants to sodomize our nodes. Enough is enough, run BIP110.

"What is it about Core as a process that is causing all these bugs? These bugs are a result of a culture that makes everyone feel afraid to question anyone that is part of the untouchable clique at the center of it... So you have a few wizards at the top who's egos can never be touched or questioned, and you have all of their lackeys below them who will remain in the places they are in and be very careful not to offend the people, that way they can maintain their position and continue up the hierarchy, and theyll continue getting grants and funding.. those people will continue to exist, and they will continue screwing up as people get their energy drained out from the war that's going on... Everything gets discussed behind closed doors now, and if you dare question anything that happens in public, you're out. You're never going to have anything you ever write or propose in Bitcoin again be considered seriously, its just going to die."

This period has been our most successful period yet, with more than double the hashpower of the last period! Every period more miners are signaling readiness for BIP-110. Prepare for activation!
I am pleased to report that there has been a flurry of new BIP-110 blocks, and that our hashrate has roughly doubled since last period: bip110monitor.com/

Unilateral exit or it's not bitcoin
>I am assuming Coinbase or Strategy have the Bitcoin on chain Yes you are, and I'm trying to point out that that's a terrible assumption Bitcoin's history is full of custodians getting hacked or running away with people's funds, it's actually the norm not the exception >Would proof of reserves fix the issue for you? That would improve things, but there is still no guarantee you can actually get your money out, even with proof of reserves Unilateral exit or it's not bitcoin

Almost 0.03 BTC mined since we started this experiment ❤️ This isn’t just stacking sats. This is what controlling industrial-level hashrate actually looks like. You decide where it goes. You decide whether it strengthens Bitcoin’s decentralization and security… or feeds the machines that bloat the chain and centralize power. Most plebs still don’t get how powerful this lever is. We’re using it. Not stopping any time soon.
