Was going through my notes from last week's KCDC conference, and recalled how much I enjoyed @guyroyse on embeddings and vector DB. Fantastic job on breaking down a complex topic into understandable levels, which was complemented with humor. #kcdc2025
I really enjoyed this write-up by @Lethain. Communication is such an important art form, especially in larger organizations. "Maintain the drip" is something I have personally found true in maintaining a weekly communication: che55er.io/posts/changelog-w…
Everywhere I've worked, people have complained that internal communication could be better. There is an art to delightful internal comms, but doing a reasonably good job bakes down to mechanically following a few fairly simple practices.

It was great getting to join the DevOps Enterprise Summit today to share my talk on "Navigating Change with Communities of Practice." You can find my slides here - ⚠️ warning scary illustrations of emails inside. #DOES22github.com/devopsenterprise/…
Change is something we must continually navigate. Next week, @Che55er will talk about leveraging Communities of Practice in his #DOES22 talk, "Navigating Change with Communities of Practice." @Cerner
It takes work to keep a close perspective of what is going on, but it so valuable! In this blog post, I share the term "ground truth" and touch on a few things around the words we use when sharing this perspective. che55er.io/posts/ground-trut…
When Batman joins your rubber duck debugging session with a boom box, you know #OracleCernerShipIt is getting real! ShipIt XXV is in full swing globally at @CernerEng!
Reading Jon Bentley's More Programming Pearls, "The Envelope is Back" section highlights our human struggle with number numbness: differentiating between milliseconds and microseconds (is a factor of a 1,000 really a big deal)? Example order of magnitude in velocity (🌱🐢🏃🚀☄️):
We've already told you about our Titanium sponsors—@LaunchDarkly@headspring@ProgressSW@oktadev—but check out all of the other fantastic organizations who are making #kcdc2022 possible.
When you join us next week, be sure to visit as many as you can to say hello and thank you!
Thanks for following along the coverage of #OracleCernerDevCon. The two days were packed with some amazing talks. Now it's time to say goodbye 👋
Will leave you with a snippet from my own talk from one of the watch parties in our Kolkata office.
Loved the Dungeons and Dragons talk on Software Development. Creative team problem solving can learn so much from this. I’m starting to wonder if my earlier preference for being a cleric was a better indicator on later career choices. #oraclecernerdevcon
I absolutely loved the story telling by Trenton McRae in his talk on lessons learned from 10 years in Hollywood productions. So much great advice in handling stressful situations and how to calm the storm. #oraclecernerdevcon
“Data is never raw. It is always cooked.” I love this quote from Marina Daldalian’s talk on Humans, Algorithms, and Bias Mitigation 101 at @CernerEng #oraclecernerdevcon.
Thoroughly enjoyed @RealGeneKim#oraclecernerdevcon keynote on day 2! The amount of insight he has gained through is research is profound, like no other.
Thank you for everyone who joined my talk on "Regex Express" on the background of regular expressions and how you can include more of them in your lives. Resources can be found here: che55er.io/talks/regex-expre…#oraclecernerdevcon
Enjoyed hearing from Richard Martin from his “Growing Associates into Tomorrows Engineering Leaders.” A quote I ❤️ on growing influence was “coding with someone else’s hands”. #oraclecernerdevcon
