Headed out to work but first a Monolith update: worked on the setup bootstrap and tested the "new user" setup/install process and things went smooth. reworked the user docs to match the actual flow of the setup. version .0.11.12 is officially locked in and available in the github repo. in the past few week I have only used X and its a pretty great feeling. All these other "Social Media" apps to bounce back and forth is mentally draining. If you ever see me not posting on X. DM me and make sure im ok cus im here to stay!!

monolith got a little more real tonight. less flashy feature work, more tightening the bolts: clean install path tested, docs cleaned up, release tagged, roadmap clarified. boring work, but the kind that makes a project usable. check it out: wumbocore.com/projects/monol…

If you run arch or an arch based distro, make sure you check to make sure your system is not infected.
‼️ UPDATE: It just doesn't stop: Almost 900 Arch Linux packages infected now. lists.archlinux.org/archives…

ending my night here. monolith v0.11.9 is out. tonight was mostly about making the project feel more like the thing it is becoming: a local ai workbench, not a generic dashboard. fixed web ui launcher on port 8765, cleaner install docs, compact table pagination, better active tabs, and a sharper terminal-style shell. real hardware. real testing. no hype.

hmmm. lets see what these gents can do! Always nice to have more large scale AI labs.
We are incredibly excited to announce River AI. Our mission is to create personal AI that is owned and shaped by you. Today’s best AIs are controlled by a few large corporations. We are building the alternative: a new, personal stack for AI that works entirely for you, shares your values, and operates on your terms.

Monolith is public now as a technical alpha. It’s my local-first AI workbench for testing GGUF models, llama.cpp profiles, prompt suites, context scaling, downloads, and practical local model eval. Still early. Manual setup. Built for real local testing, not hype. github.com/WumboLabs/monolit…

Today marks the start of my official work week. Ill be in the kitchen sweating dreaming about the next phases of Monolith development. Monolith, the local LLM workbench/testing ground is now in a public Alpha phase. Check it out here: github.com/WumboLabs/monolit… still very early and rough around the edges. Any and all feedback greatly appreciated.

9/ If you try it, expect rough edges. The install docs are there, but Monolith does not install llama.cpp, GPU drivers, CUDA/ROCm, or model runtimes for you. That part is still on the user for now. Repo: github.com/WumboLabs/monolit…

10/ This is the kind of local AI tooling I wanted for my own hardware: less hype, more logs less vibes, more repeatable tests less “best model?” and more “best model for this machine and this job?” That’s Monolith alpha v0.11.7.
