The Chairman of Pakistan Darawer Ittehad
@darawer , Fakir Shiva Kachhi, paid an important visit to the home of 14-year-old minor Hindu girl Payal Bhat, who has allegedly been a victim of abduction, forced religious conversion, and marriage. During the visit, he met with the girl’s parents and obtained complete details of the case.
During the meeting, Payal Bhat’s parents shared the heartbreaking details of the incident and stated that their daughter was allegedly abducted by individuals belonging to the Machhi community. They further said that she was forcibly converted and married.
Chairman Fakir Shiva Kachhi expressed deep concern and sorrow over the incident, stating that such acts against minor girls are a serious violation of human rights and are unacceptable in any civilized society. He added that Pakistan Darawer Ittehad stands firmly with the affected family and will provide all possible legal and moral support.
He demanded that the relevant authorities take immediate notice of the matter, ensure the safe recovery of the girl, and take strict legal action against those responsible so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
In conclusion, he appealed to the public, social organizations, and human rights institutions to raise their voices collectively to ensure justice for Payal Bhat and to safeguard the rights of minorities in the country.
