@stetsondoggett the HNL Coveragemap server is not peering locally in Honolulu with any of the cell providers. Are you aware? Iβm in Honolulu and all 3 providers are showing a mainland ping π included Verizon to Hawaiian Telecom for comparison.
@stetsondoggett actually Verizon is the only one that appears to go off network locally in Hawaii. Even though T-Mobile has a speedtest server here, all data is sent back to the mainland. AT&T has no speedtest server and all data is sent back to the mainland. Boo.
Crazy how Verizon has gaps even in key urban areas - take this example in the Portland Pearl district, several high end retailers around, and yet the signal is weak and speeds are low. T-Mobile does pretty well! (iPhone 17 Pro, outdoors) #coveragemap@stetsondoggett
Went to play WoW on my PC for the first time in a while, alas... Battle dot net updates, can't find the game, I delete the folder, and redownload but its taking hours to download. This is why I get distracted and don't end up playing games...
East and SE King County Cellular reliability report from tonight (Seattle to Black Diamond): AT&T: the first to flap of the 3 on Mercer Island, unusable/absent in Issaquah and Hobart. Worked in Maple Valley and OK in Black Diamond. TMo: worked until Maple Valley [Pt 1]
TMo: reliable and usable in Issaquah and Hobart. Four Corners tower down. Almost no signal in central Black Diamond. Verizon: best of the 3, consistent signal, but less reliable data than T-Mobile. Tl;dr: get all carriers or starlink during a storm π« [Pt 2]
