That’s a traffic light every 700 feet on average, with no signal priority!
Signal prioritization would double the Gold Line’s efficiency and be relatively inexpensive.

Expanding roads doesn't fix traffic. "Induced demand" shows us that drivers who avoided the road by taking alternative transportation methods (or not commuting at all) due to congestion start using it again, and traffic returns within a few years.

- access the native file system
- work fully offline
- receive push notifications
- be installed to any device
- run background tasks
- schedule tasks while offline to be run when back online

Another reason Americans can't imagine biking home with a week's worth of groceries is because their grocery stores look like this (👈) and the infrastructure to get there looks like this (👉)

“Try cycling home a week’s worth of groceries”, is the refrain we hear from folks who falsely equate building bike lanes with banning all cars.
The point, of course, isn’t that everyone must feed their family with two wheels instead of four. It’s that they can if they so choose.
