Today, I delivered some Christmas gifts to 3 amazing young people living in a semi independent care home. They told me that Christmas means nothing to them because they've never really had one. All through the care system at a very early age. 7-18, to be precise. I took them lots of gifts and a food hamper. They didn't want any publicity, which I respected. 3 young women 17-18 living in a house with support workers only twice a week, for 1 hour, not including weekends. #changeiscoming.Children in care are still children

Annabel and Johannes might have been eliminated from #Strictly but, in truth, they have won 🏆
Johannes was exactly the partner that Annabel needed… someone to take care of her, encourage her and show her that dancing with him could help her find a smile beyond the grief.
Similarly, she gave him a platform to shine and seemingly taught him a lot along the way too.
Many will miss watching them dance in the final but it’s been wonderful to see their friendship develop and I’m sure, like all perfect partnerships, it will last long after the glitter ball stops turning @jojo_radebe @Annabel_Croft

What do these six children share in common? They have all successfully completed our 50-yard challenge, which involved mowing 50 lawns free of charge in their respective cities for the elderly, disabled individuals, single parents, and veterans.
They received a new colored shirt for every 10 lawns completed. 10-orange , 20-green , 30-blue , 40-red & upon reaching the milestone of 50 lawns, they were awarded a black shirt, symbolizing their achievement, similar to a black belt in karate. Additionally, they received brand new lawnmowers, weed eaters, and blowers.
Could your child be the next one to take on the 50-yard challenge? Participation is open to kids from any city, state, or even another country, as we currently have kids involved from eight different countries. Raking leaves , snow shoveling & picking up trash is included .
