I read this article almost 10 years ago. Still relevant when you see that tweet medium.com/tragic-design/how… (also “tragic design” book is a good read on that topic)
multiple professional doctors i know who use epic every day have told me directly that the terrible UX of this product has likely cost innumerable lives.
60 yo physicians making 100 clicks per patient visit will definitely make mistakes if the UI is bad.
this company only succeeds because they make it impossible for hospitals/practices to switch.
