Prime Jennifer Connelly and it’s not close. I’m not even saying Sydney isn’t a gorgeous girl, but Jennifer Connelly is just stunning. Ever since she rode that quarter horse. And she’s still drop dead gorgeous today.

With Guillermo del Toro’s recommendation, I started watching Apple TV ‘s “Widow’s Bay.” It’s so incredibly good that I couldn’t stop, so I binged through Episode 9 in one go. This horror-comedy, executive produced by Hiro Murai, is set in a cursed island town 40 miles off the coast of New England. Dense fog, violent storms, and all kinds of supernatural phenomena descend upon the town. It’s packed with horror elements, one after another. Fans of Stephen King and horror in general will love it. The pacing is excellent, and the balance between horror and humor is just right. Ironically, the mayor’s tireless efforts to attract tourists reminded me of Mayor Vaughn from “Jaws.” The townspeople are wonderfully eccentric as well, with personalities straight out of “Twin Peaks.” It’s been a long time since a series pulled me in this completely. I can’t wait for next Wednesday’s final episode.

Throughout my career, I've been dismayed by the contempt some genre executives have held for fans, routinely underestimating their power to make or break a show. I've watched this repeat too many times, across too many shows, to be talking about any single one of them. Yet despite the mounting evidence over the past few years, they continue to dismiss the data, repeating the same miscalculations time and again. But technology has rewritten the rules, and the power dynamics are shifting. Today’s fans are organized, strategic, and highly data-literate - effectively turning the platforms' own metrics against them. As the bets get bigger and the audience grows sharper, it will be fascinating to see how this plays out.

Watching people cheer for Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire is like watching passengers on the Titanic cheer for the iceberg.

They’ve already alienated the original fan base. Now they want to try and bring new viewers into a new franchise that will be panned from day one? Brilliant business strategy… #SaveStargate

Imagine making this video, knowing what you have, and then cancelling it because it’s exactly what you’re advertising here… @BaronDestructo @martingero and @bradtravelers know what they’re doing!! Stargate has a massive loyal fanbase. They will bring in new viewers with their joy and excitement. Instead, people are cancelling Prime. Why pay for it when you can watch the show you still love on Netflix (SG-1) and Pluto (Atlantis) or buy Universe because it’s great, too? Just make the damn show you said you were going to make the way you were going to make it. It’s what the people actually want. #SaveStargate

This is a good time to remind everyone that Inde was in projects before OBSESSION, one of them being the great and hugely underrated series, SUPERMAN & LOIS. She plays Sarah Cushing, Lana Lang's daughter, and has a great coming-of-age story alongside Clark's son, Jordan. Highly recommend!
