Wrote a short post on formal verification: how it works through an authorization example, and why it is a particularly relevant security tool for agentic systems: paragraph.com/@lisaakselrod/… Give it a read and tell me what you think 🙂

How come that after so many years @pmarca still stays one of the most sane people and forward looking thinkers?

Gorilla marketing? 👀🐈‍⬛
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

In five years, it will be 2031. Build today what you want to exist in 2031 and no one else will build it.

The weirdest thing in 2026 is fake loyalty. Even your agent is not buying it anymore

I have a feeling that physical ai might be very misunderstood. I mean.. humans like AI, but humans also like humans Humanoid washing dishes — sure thing, give me two. But this might be it AI robocat, AI gf/bf? My bet is it is a substitute for a game console or lego, not for real cat or real life partner. The amount of use cases where LLM in a particular hardware adds enough marginal value compared to a regular GPU — very limited. But maybe I am wrong. Let’s see how things play out

The hardest thing to crack as a first time founder is speed imo. Not resilience, not credibility, not fast learning curve. We’ve done all of that previously. But not speed, neither in childhood, nor at school, university or any other life settings, we do not have a need to turn inputs into tangible outputs really fast. The speed skill requires retraining neural network running the physical body. Hard to crack but absolutely doable

If you could be the first human to integrate LLMs into your brain after experiments on animals succeeded, would you go for it? For free

A sad thing about switching the domain is that you stop seeing all the nice people you’ve been seeing for years. And start your social bubble from scratch. And miss the previous social bubble

The first Kosher Michelin in the world is in Miami!
“Growing up in Jerusalem, I was surrounded by incredible flavors, spices and food that told stories. I wanted to bring that same feeling here, not only for the local Jewish community, but for all of South Florida.” Chef Raz Shabtai and his team celebrate as they learn that their restaurant, Mutra, earned a Michelin star. Mutra is now, after only a year of operation, the first and only Kosher restaurant to have earned a Michelin star in the world. Mazel Tov to everyone at Mutra!

Installed an AI note maker. It didn't make any notes on the only meeting I needed it because of unknown error but made note of meeting I didn't ask for because "I thought it would be useful" Go agents!

As a somehow neurodivergent person, it took me some time to learn what things I shouldn't tell people. When I was 19, I was on a date and the guy told "I want to found a startup one day". And I told him "your nervous system is too weak for it" and he was like wtf But now when I am a founder on my own I feel like I was really right: founders need a very strong nervous system, like basketball players should be tall! 🏀
