“Regulatory agencies should provide more comprehensive guidelines for monitoring and evaluating body composition changes, mandate well-designed body composition studies, and enhance post-market surveillance."
"GLP-1 receptor agonists have revolutionized obesity treatment and demonstrated substantial benefits... However, the potential impact of muscle mass loss as now observed remains a concern. These highly effective medications should be used strategically, in a multimodal approach to improve the quality of weight loss by optimizing body composition."

Thank you @DrMarkRoss@HannahLithgow for inviting me to @HeriotWattUni and for the fantastic hospitality. It was amazing to see what you set up in only a couple of years! Thank you @physoc for this wonderful opportunity to travel to different universities meet great people!
We had the pleasure of having @csbd7 present the R J Banister Prize Lecture at @HeriotWattUni in Muscle Ageing. Fascinating talk about the mechanisms and how we can counter muscle decline with age. Thanks to @physoc for funding the event and to @HannahLithgow for organising

🚨 A huge collection of papers I've been working on for the past three years has dropped at @Nature today!
The @inspiration4x mission launched in Sept 2021. The biospecimen samples collected by the crew (@rookisaacman, @ArceneauxHayley, @DrSianProctor, and @ChrisSembroski) resulted in a >10-fold increase in the amount of multi-omic sequencing data available to scientific researchers.
