Getting campus keys just became faster, easier, and more efficient for Titan employees. ‌ Starting today, we've launched a new electronic key control process through ServiceNow that simplifies the entire experience, from requesting and approving keys to pickup and return. Once your request is approved, you’ll receive an email letting you know your key is ready for pickup at our main station located at the corner of State College Blvd. and Gymnasium Dr. Request. Cal State Fullerton is closely monitoring the hazardous materials incident impacting parts of Garden Grove and surrounding communities. We recognize some students, faculty, and staff live within or near evacuation zones and urge everyone in affected areas to follow guidance from local public safety officials and @OCFireAuthority. @csufpd
I am closely monitoring the toxic leak at the GKN Aerospace facility in Garden Grove. My office is in close contact with local police, fire, and emergency response officials as they work to contain the hazardous materials, assess air quality, and ensure residents and first responders are safe. I am in contact with federal disaster relief officials, including FEMA and the EPA, to urge them to provide any available federal assistance for Garden Grove. I encourage everyone in the affected area to follow guidance from local authorities and avoid the impacted zones until further guidance is issued.
