It's easy to stay united as a team when you're winning. It takes strong character to stick together through adversity.

Great players want to be coached hard, understanding it's for their benefit. When getting coached up, listen to what the coach is saying, not how he is saying it. This is impressive! 👇🏽 #LearningInTheJourney

DON'T LOOK BACK AND WISH YOU HAD: - worked harder - been a better teammate - overcome your doubts and fears - not been your own worst enemy - listened to your coach - been in better shape - taken advantage of the offseason - appreciated what you had DO THEM TODAY! #CultureWins

DO YOU HANG WITH: - the doers or the talkers? - the workers or the whiners? - the builders or the destroyers? - the leaders or the laggards? - the coachables or the complainers? - the competitors or the cupcakes Who you hang with influences both you and your team. #CultureWins

Be the Player that ALWAYS shows up ! Be at all the workouts. Get the extra training and time in the weight room or track. When they open the gym up for extra work , you are there. When there is film to watch , you are front and center. Get the extra reps. Invest in the Team

When you go to bed at night ask yourself this one question. "Was I an American that was worth dying for today?" This is the way we honor our fallen on Memorial Day. Be worth it. No more, no less.

Dear Players, Every time you skip a workout. Every time you take a shortcut. Every time you make an excuse. Every time you blame a teammate. Every time you bring a bad attitude. Every time you waste an opportunity. You make it easier to beat you. Sincerely, Your Competition

Practice is the time to build confidence. Consistently doing skills correctly in practice creates habits that build self-confidence. If players accept sloppy performances in practice, they are practicing failure. Confidence is built on doing a skill correctly again & again.

Went to a college practice this morning. 📝 I have 3 takeaways 🏎 Pace - Coaches teach things once. If you aren't paying attention you are in trouble. 📢Communication - Everyone talks. All the time. 🧠Decision Making - Making the right play is a premium skill.

I played (warmed the bench) on the best college lacrosse team in the country. And honestly, it wasn't a smooth ride. I went from sick, injured, and the worst player to a Most Improved award. But it changed my approach to life. Here are 8 lessons that may change you too🧵
