I long for a day when the United States has a president who, just for starters, not to even get into more serious matters, is not older than Methuselah and does not sound like a 13 year-old on TikTok talking about middle school classmates. I don’t think this is too much to ask. And do not say to me, I guess you wish we had so-and-so and think what they’d do. We don’t have so-and-so. We have this one. And I don’t think it makes me woke to wish he acted like a grown-up.

I need someone to invent a program to allow me to remotely take control of my grandparents’ TV when they can’t find the UK game. Please and thank you.

Absolutely unconscionable.
Heck of a story this morning from @d_yetter about Jonah Bevin, adopted son of former Gov. Matt Bevin. ‘I don’t have anybody’: Adoptive teen son of a KY governor talks about life on his own kentuckylantern.com/2025/02/…

The question is what it has always been- fit or unfit. And the answer was obvious all along. Character matters, still.

If your WiFi or internet connection is slow over the next few weeks, just know it’s because every educator in America is taking a bloodborne pathogen test online, and we still don’t know why we have to take it EVERY YEAR, but we will get through it as quick as we can.

When Ken Burns asked every living president to recite the Gettysburg Address in 2013, Pres. Carter shared this story about Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and the Camp David Accords. We are thinking about the President and thought all would appreciate this wonderful story.

Those two things happened right on top of each other. Sometimes we’re like the ancient poet David in the 30th psalm, our mourning turned to dancing. But every now in a great while, we dance in our sackcloth and ashes, for we can neither deny God’s goodness nor our grief.
