Why late-night light can throw your mood off track. Most of us can tolerate occasional late nights without lasting harm, but they can be deeply destabilising for people with mood disorders, writes Ronan Lordan @RCSI_Irl @Researchirel rte.ie/brainstorm/2026/0302/…

We are now at 1136 new measles cases - in just the first 8 weeks of this year alone. A preventable disease resurging. This is an abject policy failure.

Here's another example of overprotection in the real world: banning peanuts from schools caused kids antifragile immune systems to develop improperly, leading to peanut allergies, as @glukianoff and I wrote about. (Meanwhile no protections online)
Peanut allergies are down 43% since we stopped avoiding peanuts in childhood

I'm old enough to remember when polio put my friends into iron lungs. We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives. What RFK Jr. is doing to public health in America is a disgrace.
