Please join me in praying for everyone affected, as well as the brave law enforcement officers, first responders, and medical personnel responding to the situation. Freddy out here reminding us all how awesome America is.
We found another surreal place on our way. I know some people will say I’m too positive about everything I see, but this place was crazy. They had a shooting range in the store.

Right there with you, Don. There are many SBC members in the Legislature in Texas. #txlege
This week at the SBC, Ozark Mayor and long-time Registration Secretary Don Currence encouraged Southern Baptists to consider serving in public office “I never in my life thought I would be doing public service, but God opened the door. I realize now we need Christians to be serving in public service… "It's not easy, but the thing is, we need Christians to take the lead in our government, in our city, and be involved.”

Governor Abbott directed the PUC and ERCOT to protect Texans from footing the bill for data centers. His plan requires data centers to cover their own infrastructure costs, lowers transmission costs for residents, and safeguards Texas communities and natural resources.

BREAKING: Texas received a major border security victory. SB 4 makes it a state crime to illegally enter Texas. Shortly after I filed a legal brief defending that law, a federal appeals court ruled to allow it to be enforced while the case continues. We will keep fighting in the courts, working with President Trump, and doing everything necessary to secure our border and protect Texans.

Today, we remember a legend. On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline. Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme. He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe. Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on. Gone, but never forgotten. Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸 May 27, 1999 — May 28, 2016 Forever in our hearts.

You’re a good man, Briscoe. A solid Texan. Regardless of the outcome today, I hate to lose you in the House next session. #txlege
We have a socialist to beat in November. Let’s unite and win.

Well said.
Congratulations to our Republican nominee for the United States Senate, Attorney General @KenPaxtonTX. Tonight’s decisive victory sends an unmistakable message to the political establishment: Texans are ready for bold leadership, and a Senator who will fight unapologetically for the future of this state and this country. Now is the time for Republicans to come together with unity and purpose. The mission ahead is clear, defeat James Talarico in November and keep Texas strong, free, and firmly grounded in the values that made this state exceptional. The stakes are too high for division. Texas deserves victory, and together, we will deliver it.

Congratulations to @KenPaxtonTX on his victory tonight. Republicans are united to keep the Senate red in 2026. Paxton will beat Talarico handedly in November. #txlege

We have district attorneys in the state that are not held accountable for their actions or their inaction that leads to people losing their lives. That is why Governor Abbott is strengthening accountability for DAs who fail to uphold their oath to Texans.

Agreed.
Why I’m voting for @mayes_middleton: 1. Mayes Middleton is one of the most conservative members in Texas Senate history—a proven, unapologetic MAGA conservative who fights and wins. 2. Mayes Middleton will work hand-in-hand with the Governor, the Legislature, the Department of Justice, and President Trump to make the Texas Attorney General’s office the strongest in the nation—relentlessly defending our laws and our Constitution.
