I think SpaceX and Musk companies have about 90% of the worlds great engineers working for them. This stuff is awesome engineering.
Raptor 3 is engineering black magic SpaceX’s Raptor is the FIRST full-flow staged combustion engine to ever fly - only the 3rd ever built (after the Soviet RD-270 and the 2000s US demo that never flew) β†’ Both fuel-rich oxidizer-rich preburners β†’ 100% of propellant through the turbines before the main chamber β†’ Auto-ignites from hot preburner gases (no Merlin igniter fluid) β†’ Record 350 bar chamber pressure Raptor 3 goes even crazier: Everything internalized with regenerative cooling. No heat shields. No fire suppression system. Saves 10 tons This is how Starship becomes rapidly reusable

so many interesting science thingies
You're looking at one of the rarest things ever photographed from space. A red sprite β€” a 50-mile-tall electrical discharge that fires upward out of a thunderstorm into the edge of space. It exists for milliseconds. Nitrogen molecules in the mesosphere glow pink for a fraction of a heartbeat, then it's gone. NASA astronaut Nichole Ayers caught this one from the ISS, over Mexico and the US. Lightning we know. This is something else.

There's something wrong with you if you don't think this is kool !!
This guy straps a G.I. Joe onto an RC plane, flies it up, and sends it jumping out mid-air with a parachute, lands safely on the ground.

Kool πŸ‘
Before jet engines... they built monsters like this. This is the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major 28 cylinders 4 rows 3,500 horsepower All designed with pencil and paper. And when it starts... you can feel the entire building shake.

Visual science is kool.
This is hands down one of the coolest experiments Chris Hadfield did. Watch the incredible surface tension in action as he starts to wring out a wet towel while floating in space. 🌌

Soooo kool. Am going to have to frame-by-frame analyze this. Something to do with leading edge shading...
