Was eager to start my week before I realized that @github now refuses to let me see all issues on my own repository??!! It's unacceptable and very stressful. My issues are carefully labelled, but not all interactions are based on label/keyword searches. Let me see my Issues.

My Christmas break is finally over, but it's been pretty productive. Zero Wing Neo Geo port is nearly complete! Just a few bugs and CD support to wrap-up then we're done!. Here's a level show reel. youtu.be/bExxCZtayNk

So yesterday I ran into some Square Enix playlist on YT so I listened to it for a while. Then: "I wonder how their sound format looks like on and if one can make a pattern viewer?" Today (with some AI assistance) youtu.be/UiyhHTa8Jdg

So I have to pay for building my code on my own machines using @github soon? resources.github.com/actions… Yeah, I might consider my options at this point. Yes, it's not a huge sum, but it's a matter of principle.

New article! What do you do when profiling your code shows the slowdown isn't in your code, but deep in the kernel? Why, you grab the kernel source and go spelunking. How a routine profiling session turned into a Linux kernel patch: rovarma.com/articles/from-pr…

I ran into this yesterday: github.com/SquareMan/xenosag… Xenosaga is a PS2 JRPG that shipped with an ELF containing symbols, which sparked my curiosity. A few hours of reversing later, I confirmed it indeed uses Java for scripting. If anyone knows the motivation behind that choice, I’d love to hear it. Also, many scripts look tool-generated (lots of variables like _02, _03, etc.), so I’m wondering if that was the case.
