You just kidnapped this man off the street because you didn’t like his speech, threw him in a cell for 104 days, ignored court orders, & denied relief so he had to listen to his wife birth their child over a phone. And now YOU want to call HIM the terrorist? Look in the mirror.

Boston's most dangerous roads & the recent projects aimed at fixing them @EdforBoston yearns for the old designs and the crashes, injuries, and deaths that came with them

He may belittle BTD's work as one-size-fits-all, but they're better known as 'industry best practices' and 'design standards'

Ed misses the old days
A female business owner called to say she may go out-of-business after decades due to Tremont St bike lane. Revenue/foot traffic down significantly, inability to load product. We should compromise on alternative bike routes, protect Main Street, abandon 100% purity tests.#bospoli

Tremont Street was in the top 3% of the most dangerous streets in Boston. In the 3-years leading up to it's redesign there were 54 EMS calls, including the tragic death of two neighbors crossing the dangerous 4-lane road in a busy mixed-use neighborhood. 📍South End, Boston

“Unfortunately, a colleague tried to block this $ from our communities” Funny how with no further context I immediately knew who it must’ve been… Ed really tries his hardest to prevent our city government from accomplishing anything
I asked for a vote to pass a $11M federal grant to provide more trees & the workforce to plant them. Unfortunately, a colleague tried to block this $ from our communities. It’s a sad day when we have to justify tree investments in the face of potential federal cuts to our city.

No surprise that South Boston has the 2nd lowest tree canopy of any neighborhood in Boston. and Ed Flynn rejected the entire 195 page South Boston TAP that wants to add trees.

Southie elected's sent a letter opposing BlueBike expansion here is some context... Of the 28 proposed locations: - only 6 remove parking (2 spots each – spring to fall) - but only 7-14 will be selected (so 0, 2, maybe 4 spots removed for part of the year?)

Southie has comparably poor BlueBike station density. We deserve the same level of city services as other neighborhoods! My parent's home is 10 min walk from closest station (marine park), but I'd usually walk 15 minutes to the Library since I'm usually going that direction

A number of locations in Southie are consistently empty before 9am and full by 5pm, making it very difficult to rely on the system Average weekly station capacities over the past several months:
