Here are all the things UK PM Rishi Sunak apparently doesn't want, given he's reportedly planning to trash UK climate policy, Investor confidence, intl reputation etc etc
REMINDER: UK govt decision to ban the sale of new petrol & diesel cars in 2030, instead of 2035, will… 💷save more than £6bn 🪙boost GDP by 0.2% 👨‍🔧create an extra 32,000 jobs ⛽️cut oil imports & energy use ☁️avoid more than 100MtCO2 …but the Daily Mail doesn't like it so 🤔

The eye-popping UK nuclear liability! The "Nuclear Provision", ie the future cost estimated to clean up all of UK #nuclear plants stands now at a staggering 237bnGBP... or 10% of the country's GDP. Prices exploded due to higher interest rates. In order to get that number, you need to dig deep into the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority Annual Report and Accounts 2021/22 - page 138/252 assets.publishing.service.go… I imagine that it is not any better in other countries. @AssaadRazzouk @dorfman_p

An apt little snippet from our founder @g__j talking all about green, spiky power. In order to move to a clean energy system, we’ve got to embrace the spikes - the system of the future is here, now 👉 octo.ps/flexibility
