I'm done. Bye, folks. See you on Mastodon - I'm hachyderm.io/@dave_andersen there. I won't be deleting my account here, but I've removed it from my phone and will not be interacting here further unless following links from others. Thanks for all the fish.

Hi - I'm still mostly posting on mastodon, but I've also created a bsky account to be able to follow folks there. bsky.app/profile/daveanderse… (mastodon: hachyderm.io/@dave_andersen ) Hope to see y'all at one of those two alternatives.

In today's #vatniksoup, I'll introduce a South African-American(!) businessman and social media figure, Elon Musk (@elonmusk). He's best-known for being the wealthiest man in the world, running Tesla Inc., SpaceX & Twitter, and for parroting Kremlin's propaganda narratives. 1/24

Over the last week, the discourse in my circles (mostly copied from my twitter follow/ers lists) on Mastodon has skyrocketed. It's quite amazing. Quite encourage trying it out. In tech circles, hachyderm dot io has been a very good server. Finding one with good filtering helps.

This next reply will undoubtedly be censored by Twitter for daring to link to *astodon, but the next tweet in this thread has a link to my profile there:

*laughs* I can't even post it. hachyderm dot io/@dave_andersen it will have to be for now. Replace dot in the expected way. Ridiculous. It's like someone fears a mass exodus. That link is harmful to Twitter's potential revenue, I guess...

Lol. Twitter has blocked my pinned post explaining that I've left Twitter and to find me on mas*odon. I'm there: hachyderm dot io/@dave_andersen (Replace dot with a period, of course) What a censorious prick.

I have, however, mass-deleted my old tweets. I'm not interested in letting *sk monetize them. (This process may be flaky but if you notice that things are missing, that's why.)
