The biggest problem with AI today is that it can't learn in realtime. I've been exploring ways of creating a neural net without "weights" or back prop. Instead, there's is constant branching of synapses and pruning. This plasticity I hope is at the foundation of enabling a net to learn. In the demo, we only have 145 neurons and only a couple of feedback loops and yet, it's enough for basic steering and seeing an entity move faster and faster towards it's goal.

Remembering Trello for Teams Trello for teams is Dead (2025) On August 26th, 2025, I saw a post on r/trello. "Trello will not be accepting new feature requests related to project management." And I felt weirdly sad. Trello played a big role in my career. This feels like the end of an era. The Original Trello (2011) Back in 2011, I was building a mobile gaming company with a small team. We discovered Trello when we saw a presentation on TechCrunch and immediately loved it. It was fast, simple and way ahead of time. We built our whole company on it - including Forces of Freedom, a mobile game that ended up with 50 million downloads and 10k concurrent players at it's peak. I even emailed the Trello team at one point offering to pay, because we felt bad using such a great product for free. The Atlassian Acquisition (2017) In 2017, Trello was acquired by Atlassian. Almost immediately, things felt off. It became slower. Clunkier. There was even a huge banner telling users to switch to Jira! That felt weird. Jira, was everything Trello wasn't: bloated, confusing, slow and a complete UX nightmare. Being told to "upgrade" to Jira and pay for an inferior product was insulting! That's when I had the feeling Trello was finished. The post on Reddit a few weeks ago just confirmed it... Atlassian is pivoting Trello from a project management app to a personal companion. IT will no longer support any team features. To put it simply, Trello for teams is dead. I want Trello's Legacy to Live On (2025) After I exited my gaming company, I wanted to bring that simple polish and speed I loved in Trello - but make it more scalable. That's when I started Superthread.
