I learned about the assassination of Charlie Kirk from my 17 year old son, Micah. So many young people were influenced by Charlie and are devastated and confused today. 31 years old. Heartbroken for his wife and children. Thankful for his bold stand for Jesus and the gospel.

Noticed an emphasis shift toward therapeutic language in church? Me, too. Esp in our songs. Jesus rescues us from more than fear, doubt, sorrow, and shame - negative emotions associated w/sin. He rescues us from sin itself - its penalty, its power, and ultimately its presence.
