Continuing to embrace reflexive adventures in the interdisciplinary understanding of the connections between physical culture(s), education and society
An absolute privilege to contribute to this book - what we can all learn from #Wales about #local approaches to #child#poverty with Lori Beckett & @BangorUni colleagues
This book provides national governments and school-communities with a model way of working to push back against child poverty, showcasing Walesβs social democracy as different from the UK conservative neoliberal project.

ALT βThe relentless pursuit of neoliberal policies
by the UK government will only be halted
through concerted action by social movements
to reassert the values that inspired the
creation of the welfare state. This book offers
inspiring examples of what can be achieved,
in Wales and beyond, through a renewed
commitment to solidarity.β
