This is unhinged. If a family member behaved this way, you'd worry about them. If a CEO behaved like this, the board would meet. He's living in an alternate reality and furious when a person won't indulge his fantasies.
WOW -- Trump crashes out and cuts his interview with Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged "You're either crooked or you're stupid. Let's call it quits. Because I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her." "I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads.

Thank you, @kwelkernbc, for pushing back on his blatantly false statements. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. No one gets to choose their own facts. To others who push back on his falsehoods, thank you. To those still appeasing him for political or economic gain, it's not too late to find courage & change.

Trump has a meltdown and ends the interview Welker: Just to be very clear, there's no evidence of what you're saying. Trump: There’s a lot of evidence. There’s tremendous evidence. There’s nothing but evidence. The election was rigged. And it’s happening again in California. They’re cheating. Welker: Do you have evidence? Trump: All I have to do is look. Welker: That’s not evidence. The local officials acknowledge they are slow Trump: They’re crooked. Just like you’re crooked. You’re either crooked or stupid.

The entire direction of the post-Cold War world is being decided in Ukraine. Either the free world shows it can defend itself from hostile dictatorships, allowing democracy and rights to flourish, or a descent into corruption, might makes right, and volatile spheres of power.
Garry Kasparov: Ukraine must win, and there is no other option for the future of Europe or the free world. Putin is not on a trajectory to win. Ukraine has shifted the momentum, and the smart move now is to wait him out, The Telegraph. 1/

More of CNN's false equivalence language. Ukraine is not targeting St. Petersburg, but striking military installations, Russian warships, and oil refineries. It's the Russian terror state that strikes cities and targets civilians. edition.cnn.com/2026/06/03/e…

Trump‘s hands have been untied for a year and a half and he’s only used them to try to strangle Ukraine and put Russian money into he and his cronies' pockets. Letting Trump do whatever he wants means letting Putin do whatever he wants.
This evening I voted against The Ukraine Support Act. While I am supportive of lethal aid so the Ukrainian people can defend themselves and put an end to this war, this legislation ties President Trump’s hands in navigating the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. More importantly it does not account for the current state of play in the conflict as it was introduced over a year ago. The failure to bring this up through regular order, prevented the House from being able to amend and debate the bill. The bottom line: no one is winning this war and no side is in a more advantageous position than they were 5 years ago when this began. Ukrainians need access to the tools to defend their country and this bill does not do that.

Impressive letter from Zelenskyy to Putin. Of course, Putin doesn't care at all about future generations of Russians, or this generation. He only cares about his own skin and the power needed to preserve it. As Zelenskyy points out, failure for Russia leads to change...
Replying to @ChristopherJM
Zelenskyy tells Putin: "We must determine what kind of future awaits the generations of Ukrainians and Russians who will come after us. "If you do not personally come to the conclusion that it is time to end this war, Ukraine will continue fighting for its existence. We will have those who support us. "But you, too, will have to fight much harder for your own existence — not Russia’s, but your own. And this is not a threat from me or from Ukraine. It is a fact of Russian history that you know well: when Russia grows tired, change comes." president.gov.ua/en/news/vid…

Russia Is a Terrorist State.
More than 500 personnel of the State Emergency Service have been involved in dealing with the aftermath of Russia’s overnight attack on our cities and communities. The main strike was on Kyiv, where dozens of residential buildings and other purely civilian infrastructure were damaged again. Tragically, four people have been reported killed. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. At this moment, 38 people are in hospitals in the capital, and all of them are receiving the necessary care. In Dnipro, a search and rescue operation is ongoing at the site of a four-story apartment building. Part of the building was essentially demolished. Nine people were killed in this attack, including a child. Thirty-five people were injured in the city. The fate of six more people remains unknown. The search for them will continue for as long as necessary. The Russians also struck energy facilities in the Kharkiv region and critical infrastructure in Kharkiv. Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions also came under attack. In total, overnight Russia launched 656 attack drones and 73 missiles of various types at our people – ballistic, cruise, and anti-ship missiles. A large-scale attack and an absolutely clear statement from Russia: if Ukraine is not protected from ballistic and other missile strikes, these attacks will continue. Europe needs its own anti-ballistic defense so that this war can finally be brought to an end. And assistance from the United States in supplying missiles for Patriot systems is absolutely necessary. We are counting on the support of our partners and on effective responses to today’s attack. And I thank all Ukrainian men and women for not ignoring air raid alerts. Glory to Ukraine!

When this war is over, and Ukraine is victorious and whole again, and every innocent victim, every fallen defender, every destroyed city and town is documented, let no one say they did not know. These Russian crimes against humanity are happening in full view in real time.
Most people completely underestimate the insane, inhumane scale of the war in Ukraine. According to the Uppsala Conflict Data Program, the siege of Mariupol alone saw between 27,000 and 88,000 deaths in only three (3!) months. Read that again and let it sink in

Putin’s war is a tragedy with no winners. Russia isn’t stronger, safer, or more prosperous for invading Ukraine. Its economy is deeply strained, emigration has accelerated, and its demographic crisis has intensified.

Whenever UN workers and assets in Ukraine are attacked, the United Nations never seems to know who did it. Hint: they are still on the Security Council, but shouldn’t be.
Absolutely unacceptable. This is what's left of our @WFP warehouse after a missile strike in Dnipro, Ukraine—and the remaining food stocks for 130K people on the frontlines of war and hunger. These deliberate attacks MUST end. Aid workers and humanitarian assets are #NotATarget.

"Taking shelter from Russia’s retaliation in a Kyiv metro station early Sunday, Nataliia Zvarych recounted a night of “horror.”" Really, CNN? Retaliation? In 1944, CNN would have called the V attacks on London "retaliation for the Allies' bombing of peaceful German cities"!

Horrific. Morning footage from Kyiv Ukraine after Russia poured ballistic missiles on civilian neighborhoods, targeting apartment buildings, schools, markets, and bomb shelters full of people. Video: @radiosvoboda's reporter Serhii Nuzhnenko.

The wonderful Anne Applebaum explains the whole reason for Russian's invasion of Ukraine
Putin didn't invade Ukraine because of NATO. He invaded because Ukrainians were proving democracy works. Historian and Pulitzer Prize winner Anne Applebaum puts it plainly: Putin looked at Ukraine's democratic movement and thought, "If they can do it in Ukraine, then people could do it in Russia. So I need to crush this." That's the real threat Ukraine posed. Not missiles. Not borders. A working democracy next door. Applebaum frames the war as a fault line between the democratic and autocratic worlds. Russia isn't just trying to take territory. It's trying to erase Ukraine as a nation, reduce it to a colony, and send a message to every country that the post-1945 rules of Europe no longer apply. Those rules were simple: no invasions, no wars, borders don't change by force. Russia understood exactly what it was breaking when it crossed into Ukraine.

A reminder that Russia is waging a terrorist war on Ukraine, and a reminder that standing by and watching are the richest nations on Earth, controlling the most powerful military alliance in history, an alliance created specifically to stop Russia in Europe. Sickening.
It was a horrible night in Kyiv. But if Putin thinks he can terrorize Ukrainians into submission, he is mistaken.
