Does anyone remember how Ari Ben Menashe tried to get Morgan Tsvangirai killed for treason?

Although Parliament is in breach of Section 198 of the Constitution it has enacted a Code of Conduct & Ethics for MPs. Section 6(1) of that states that a "Member must not promote any matter in Parliament in return for payment or for a direct benefit to the immediate family of that Member or to a business partner of that Member." Section 6(3) states that "where, in the pursuit of a Member's Parliamentary duties, the existence of a personal financial interest is likely to give rise to a conflict with the public interest, the Member has a personal responsibility to resolve that conflict either by disposing of the interest or by standing aside from the public business in question." Part IV sets out what interests must be disclosed. This includes, as set out in Section 14, gifts. The section states "the receipt, description value and source of any gift with a value in excess of US$4 500, 00 (United States Dollars) or gifts from a single source which cumulatively exceed the value of US$.4 500,00 (United States Dollars) in any calendar year or hospitality intended as a gift in kind, including such gifts and hospitality from an external source to a spouse, permanent companion or dependent child of a Member" must be disclosed. Part V says there must be a "Members Interest register". There is a Confidential Register and a Public Register. Gifts are part of the Public Register. Section 20(1) states that "the public part of the register shall be open to inspection by members of the public". I trust the 4th Estate will now inspect the register following reports of cars and other gifts which have been given to a variety of MPs recently.

Rutendo Matinyare got more financial rewards for critiquing the first family family and CAB3 than Snowball who supported both the CAB3 and the first family. It makes no sense man.

I regret that you are wrong. All that the introduction of amendments does is provide cover for Zanu PF. They may well strategically accept some of your peripheral amendments and keep the core - namely the extension of time in office and the end of a direct election of President - and then present that as consensus. Whilst you are correct in bemoaning the state of the opposition that is no reason to allow the further desecration of our Constitution and what is left of our democratic order.

When you hear @TembaMliswa speak of his personal integrity, you’d be forgiven for forgetting that he’s the same Temba who seized that white British guy, @PaulPaulus13’s business using political muscle!
Sekuru Moyo marara sei? Varisei mbuya vangu. Pana mbuya ndipo pakakosha. It is precisely within the realm of such familial bonds that our true values lie. Allow me to reiterate my perspective: no one has sought to dictate how you should manage your finances. That autonomy belongs to you. However, the crux of the matter is that the timing of your benevolence towards a Member of Parliament, who is currently embroiled in a contentious debate surrounding CAB3, warrants careful consideration. The timing is wrong. The challenge isn’t merely about whether your actions constitute direct influence; rather, it’s about the impression those philanthropic gestures leave behind. Such actions, though well-intentioned, can inadvertently tarnish the integrity of the entire legislative process. MPs are compensated and supported through taxpayers' contributions for very specific reasons. They are charged with maintaining an unwavering standard of integrity, particularly in instances where there are whispers of control by outside interests. The prospect of them receiving what could be perceived as inducements, especially in the midst of a historic Bill is perilous. This concern is why Honorable John Paradza, the Youth League, and Honorable Togarepi have cautioned you against such actions. In your genuine desire to express gratitude, you may inadvertently be undermining the very fabric of governance. For the legitimacy of the legislative outcome, the integrity of the process must remain intact. If the passion for philanthropy is too much, I would encourage you to navigate the formal Parliamentary pathways and contribute to the institution as a whole rather than to individuals. On the issue of buying me a vehicle: I have never solicited such generosity from you or anyone else. If your intention was to offer a Raptor to the Association, kindly do not misplace that expectation upon me. If the situation is no longer palatable for you, I suggest you go back and take the car. However, should you feel compelled to bestow a car upon me, since you seem quite eager, I will not decline. After all, I am not an MP. If Rutendo, who has been attacking and mocking the President publicly can be repayed with a 300 Series, it would stand to reason that we, vanomira nekusimbisa President, deserve even greater recognition! I have never asked for anything from you. What I have requested from you is the repayment of the funds owed to me, something that remains unfulfilled. Despite various insinuations and tenuous accusations of me being corrupt, I have always adhered to the principles of legality and integrity. I am not one to capitulate to corruption and where the truth is concerned, I will always state the facts. A mere vehicle will never compromise my principles, morals, and values! As for you Sekuru, money does not grant immunity to accountability, and not all of us are so easily blinded by monetary allure that we overlook one’s transgressions. Mamwe mayitoro enyu Sekuru, are undeniably out of line, and although many may hesitate to address this, I will always take the liberty to voice it. In our cultural context, it is utterly unheard of for one to be so vindictive as to have their mother-in-law detained! While you are scoffing at my role as Sabhuku, you actually should be summoned to one such traditional Dare over your misconduct. Endai nevakuru vekuSowe kwenyu nemhuri kudare raMambo mutongwe nyaya dzenyu idzi. First approach Sabhuku, who will lead you to the Headman and then the Chief. You need kuti mukumbirirwe kumhuri yaAmbuya venyu vamakatadzira otherwise mhepo dzinosimuka.

African Governments/politicians work together towards self enrichment. But we the African masses refuse to work together to free ourselves from the criminals running our countries. Our struggles are interconnected. Until we realise that, We will keep majoring on the minor.

The list becomes even longer when you start talking about high capital projects like mining. Hostile takeovers by Ministers or proxies of Ministers and other senior officials becomes even more evident. It definitely looks and feels like the Govt can snatch whatever you are building if you are a Zimbabwean than a White foreigner. They seem to have more restraint for foreigners but the Black man is instantly disenfranchised.
I have a long list of Zimbabwe diasporans who have tried to do a beneficial investment project or massive infrastructure projects and all of them...I mean all of them speak of one hurdle - there is always a Minister or some Government or para-Government apparatchik demanding a bribe. Zimbabwe could be very good in terms of development, but the graveyard of failed investments has an insatiable appetite.

The indiscipline Zvigananda have dragged into ZANU PF is nothing short of staggering. What makes it even more obscene is that not one of these low lives made their money through merit or effort; they are merely illegitimate beneficiaries of a ZANU PF system they now are unwittingly tearing apart. It raises a serious question: does this mafia-style organization still have anyone left in its ranks who genuinely values its own principles, let alone protects them with any sense of shame or loyalty? For now, we watch as the whole rotten structure unravels before our eyes. Ingozi iyi.
Before the sun sets on this eventful weekend, let me deal with a very important detail: it is, in fact, a used Toyota, complete with registration plates and parked at someone’s rat infested residence. So no, it’s not quite a used condom though, to be fair, it comes dangerously close. This used condom, sorry; car, symbolizes what has brought Tagwirei down. What a fitting end. Poor Mutisi is utterly inconsolable. To those still in the trenches, a word of caution: be very careful how deeply you align yourselves. In the end, they may leave you stranded for a used condom, I mean car. Toyota mhani.

🇯🇵 FUNNIEST THING: Japanese fans ran onto the famous Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo for 40 seconds to celebrate the 2:2 tie against the Netherlands. They ran onto the crossing only for 40 seconds while it was green! The Japanese DID NOT BREAK TRAFFIC RULES! After the light turned red, everyone went back and stopped the celebration. They did not even break the traffic rules for this moment. lol

When the likes of Tungwarara and Rutendo openly bribe each other on social media, let no noise maker tell us about war. Screaming 'takarwa hondo' means nothing when state resources are abused by individuals that never took part in that war. #noto2030

I wish to reward these Comrades who fought by all means to protect the President, by providing them with a token of appreciation of USD$10k per person. During the period when Matinyarare was attacking the President, these individuals did everything within their power to defend him and the First Family. Furthermore, I will instruct my microfinance institution to offer them low-cost loans to help kickstart their small businesses. Congratulations to you all. 😳😳😳WTF is this?
This is one of my proposed amendments I have tabled and are on the order paper I am pushing for leveling of the political field when elections are finally held. Rejecting and tarnishing the whole process is not strategic and wrong. We simply don’t have the numbers to stop Cab3 because we destroyed our own party and structures that were supposed to fight this bill.
