There is no safe place for children in Gaza. This shameful violence against children must end now.

Please support us by donating to: msoe.ie/donate/ Tonight was an extremely busy night, with the demand for sleeping bags and tents more apparent than ever. People are in desperate need, and the number of students, families and children coming down to us is growing week by week. We also had Q102 visiting to interview some of our volunteers for an upcoming program about volunteering in Dublin. The recognition of the work volunteers do across Ireland is so important—these incredible people give their own time, and we couldn’t exist without them. It was an honor that Q102 wanted to highlight this. As always, tonight was exhausting. We worked hard to keep everything running smoothly, managing the crowds, listening to people's needs, and doing our best to meet them. However, we can't keep facilitating this without your continued support. We served 410 hot meals tonight, along with fresh fruit, vegetables, yogurt, cheese, and food for children’s lunches. There was food for families in hotel accommodations, meals for rough sleepers, and provisions for men working who need something for their lunch. We are blessed to have such a bountiful table each week, each week brings something new, and we never know what generosity will come our way. With your growing support, we’re immensely grateful. A huge shout-out goes to all our volunteers, and especially to each and every one of you who has supported the Muslim Sisters of Éire for the past 8 ½ years. We hope that one day, there will be no need for a soup run, but until then, we remain determined to keep going, continuing to share the compassion, empathy, and love we've built with our friends outside the GPO.

Lost Words, The words that are lost in the system are the words that we hear every week: Can you help me? I have children, I can't pay my bills Can you help me? I am in hotel accommodation, I don't have enough money to keep buying food out everyday Could I have some food? Can I take enough shopping to last me today and tomorrow for my children? Why do you want to help me? I'm a rough sleeper, I'm nothing Why do you want to buy me shoes when my shoes are falling off my feet? Why do you want to get me a coat ? Why do you want to validate me as a person, when for Society I’m just invisible Why me? Why you? because you are You You are a person, we respect you as a human being, we want to honor you and we validate you as a person. We are equal, no one is above anybody, there is no ID at our soup run, its called Human to Human, Compassion to Compassion, Empathy to Empathy. Tonight is short because we want to reflect on the ‘Why Me’ Everyone we meet and help at the soup run matters, thanks to our donors we were able to provide 400 meals tonight and made sure everyone was seen, acknowledged and helped out. Please donate and continue supporting us: msoe.ie/donate/

I’m open to correction but the item in this child’s arm appears to be a flechette. They are packed into missiles and designed to disperse and do what it appears to have done to this kid. Still supporting this?

Tonight, we truly felt the arrival of winter. The cold has set in, and with it comes the urgent need for warm hats, gloves, scarves, heavy-duty tents, and hygiene kits. We saw families seeking winter essentials for their children, as well as elderly people and many others trying to finding shelter. We recently launched our Bags for Life campaign, which you can read more about by scrolling down. Our goal is to distribute 200 bags on Christmas Eve, each filled with essential items like hats, gloves, scarves, a hygiene kit, glucose and protein packs, a survival blanket, a pop-up tent, and a sleeping bag. These bags can mean the difference between life and death for those forced to sleep on the streets during the harsh winter. We’ve been running this campaign for nearly 8 years, and it continues to make a critical impact. Tonight, we served nearly 400 hot meals. Five six-foot tables—30 feet in total—were loaded with fresh food and treats, enough to ensure everyone who came to us got a hot meal. We started at 6:45 p.m., and by 8:30 p.m., we had given out every meal. We’re incredibly grateful that tonight, everyone in need was able to receive a hot dinner. Each person left with two or three bags full of food, and we feel truly blessed to be able to provide this support. Each meal costs us just €3 from a restaurant. If you’d like to sponsor a meal, please visit our website, where you’ll find several donation options. You can also help by supporting our Bags for Life campaign—whether by sponsoring hats, gloves and scarves, or sleeping bags, every contribution makes a difference. We can’t thank you enough for your continued support. None of this would be possible without your generosity. Link to donate: msoe.ie/donate/

I am sorry to see that despite years of talk, gender inequality is on full display at the #UNGA General Debate. Less than 10% of speakers this week are women. This is unacceptable – especially when we know gender equality delivers for peace, climate action and much more.

Who remembers October last year when families had to go to court to access their child's medical records, as @CHI_Ireland would not supply? Despite all the spray talk from @SimonHarrisTD the government & the spinal unit are not doing all they can to help... Parents are sending repeated requests to the Spinal Management Unit @CHI_Ireland for confirmation that their child is listed for spinal surgery, zero response Once again back to the Credit Union get a loan, get to court, to get the information on our own children. @scolionetwork @npsoIRL @DonnellyStephen
