Somewhere in a drawer there’s a @UNVolunteers badge from my @UNICEF days in Nicaragua. Recognition like this still lands, as some commitments don’t come with an expiry date. Then and now, proud to serve the general interest and uphold the values of the UN Charter.

The two day United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Asian Partner Roundtable at the UN Campus, Bonn, Germany commenced on 12.05.2026. Shri Nitesh Kumar Mishra, Additional Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, along with Shri Salil Kumar, Director, MY Bharat, participated in the first day of the Roundtable.
The Roundtable brought together partner nations for strategic dialogue, exchange of partnership results and discussions on the UNV Strategic Framework 2026–2029 - fostering meaningful networking and bilateral engagements while reaffirming India's strong commitment to global volunteerism, youth engagement, and sustainable development.
