Another long-overdue page on DITAWriter has been updated: the listing for DITA Consultants (ditawriter.com/dita-consulta…). Since the last update, many DITA-related consulting firms have come and gone, though I have made several new additions to this list and updated their descriptions
Just posted a long-overdue update to my Companies Using DITA (ditawriter.com/companies-usi…) page on DITAWriter, now with 802 firms, and highlighting all "new" firms that are using the technical writing standard. Part of my prep for my talk at the CIDM ConVEx conference next month.

The recent New Year celebrations made me think about why I don't like making predictions when it comes to DITA 2.0; from a slide I presented back in 2017:

A key individual behind the invention and deployment of DITA at IBM slams the rise in popularity of Markdown-based authoring formats over DITA. #XML#techcommthinkingdocumentation.com/bl…
💡 If you haven't heard yet, there is a new article on the Oxygen XML Blog that addresses the comparison between the DITA XML standard and Markdown.

I'll discuss the results and some tips in a podcast that @ContentWrangler & @PatrickBosek have kindly invited me on.
