@GoToImpulse is on a mission to accelerate humanity's future beyond Earth. To get there, they are building the spacecraft that will advance the orbital economy, and need to test as fast as they build. Before Revel, standing up a new test stand took 1–3 weeks, first-time deployments could take up to 3 months, software changes required looping in a specialist, and the team was locked into a single DAQ ecosystem. Now, stands are up in days, sometimes even hours. Engineers self-serve on sequence changes, the program runs multiple test fires per day instead of one every other day, and with the ability to mix and match hardware across vendor ecosystems, the team saves over 100x on hardware alone. Today, Revel runs across hundreds of Impulse assets — engine stands, vacuum chambers, avionics test stands, facility monitoring, and more — creating a single codebase that can be maintained and deployed consistently at scale. Thanks to @lrocket, @_Eric_Romo, Dane Sarcone, Julia Vyborny, Trevor Hanken, and the rest of the Impulse Space team for the partnership. Read the full case study at revel.io/impulse

Let’s count the wins here 1. SpaceX gets a frontier coding lab, with the highest quantity and quality of coding data outside of Anthropic 2. Cursor is at $4b ARR and targeting 7.5b in EOY ARR. At $60b, that’s accretive to SpaceX’s EV/revenue multiple 3. One of Cursor’s only deficiencies was long term access to compute, which they now secure. Who knows what they’ll cook 4. Cursor was the largest customer of several inference neoclouds, meaning SpaceX slows down or handicaps competitors in the process 5. SpaceX gets Cursor level AI talent with a meaningful lockup, at a time when they face huge attrition in xAI Win x 5
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models. For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon. We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities

Hard to overemphasize how good of a deal this is for SpaceX. People laud Sam Altman as the deal king, but Elon is a wizard for this. Very rarely does a deal make this much sense strategically AND financially (due to SpaceX’s high stock price). And it’s uniquely enabled by Elon’s aggressive decision to build a frontier lab and eventually Colossus 1 2 at a time when that was non obvious, and people thought the game was over

Embedded in 3 is that if SpaceX can’t rent out Colossus 1 2 for favorable terms or if Ant/Google back out of their deals, they have a productive use for that excess compute (Cursor). That gives them more leverage in every negotiation because they have a true fall back plan

Walking into AGI economics 101 and this is the professor
Economics of AGI episode w Alex Imas and Phil Trammell. There's a bunch of important questions about how we deal with AI that only economics can answer. What is the optimal way to tax and redistribute the wealth that will be generated? How should countries not in the AI supply chain index into the gains? Is there any world where inequality doesn't explode? It might seem like these questions have obvious answers, but the first thing economics teaches you is that your intuitions can often be entirely wrong. It was very helpful to chat through these things with Alex and Phil. Look up Dwarkesh Podcast on Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or Spotify. Enjoy! 00:00:00 – Will capital share increase? 00:19:36 – Messy Middle scenario 00:25:57 – How to tax and redistribute AI wealth 00:30:02 – Why demand collapse is unlikely 00:39:26 – Human employees would be hard to integrate into the machine economy 00:43:08 – What if some humans (or AIs) value wealth accumulation intrinsically? 01:01:28 – What should developing countries do?

We're pumped to double down on @newlimit! They are pushing the frontier for what's possible in longevity and will be one of this generation's greatest companies in bio/pharma
Following breakthrough results, we’re bringing longevity medicine to human trials. We’ve raised a $435M Series C led by @foundersfund to make it happen. Reprogramming cell age has the potential to create more healthy years for everyone. We're closer than ever to realizing it.

The real VC winners of the AI supercycle are Mag7 strategics. I've encountered some heinous circular term sheets. For example: > Mag7 company invests $100m in big AI lab > Big AI lab signs deal to pay $200-300m in compute or cloud credits back to Mag 7 company, which Mag7 company clocks as revenue with ~30-50% margins > Mag7 company now has a freeroll equity investment in big AI lab > Profit If you're a major AI strategic and not heinous freeroll dealmaxxing, you're doing something wrong
Corporate investing on a generational run

Genuinely trying to understand why SoftBank is trading at a 20% discount to their ARM stake, which is worth $380B given their ~87% ownership They also have a whole separate business and meaningful OpenAI exposure

SK Telecom invested ~$100M in the same round, a bigger check even than Spark (the institutional lead). It's unclear how much they've invested in later rounds, but doing some back of the envelope math, I'd assume ~$6B, which is 35% of their $17B market cap
Source: Salesforce has a stake in Anthropic worth ~$5B; Salesforce first invested about $50M in an early 2023 round and has continually invested in rounds since (@brodyford_ / Bloomberg) (Visit Techmeme dot com for the link and full context!)

We believe Reactor can be a fundamental enabler for world models, and we’re really excited to support the team!
Today Reactor is coming out of stealth. We’ve raised $59M in Seed and Series A funding, led by @lightspeedvp, with participation from @AmplifyPartners, @wndrco, @Sky9Capital, and @FPVventures. Reactor is the platform for building in the World Model era: the infrastructure that lets developers build with them at global scale for the first time. Stream from a frontier World Model to your app, in real time, all in under 10 lines of code. World Models represent the next major shift in AI: pixels, audio and actions are generated on the fly, in real-time, in response to user inputs, and to the environment. Every time computing has made a shift from passive to interactive, entire industries appeared that didn't exist before. We're standing in front of such moment again. Over the last 6 months, we’ve assembled an all-star team with alumni from Apple, Meta, Google, Luma AI, Netflix, and Replicate. We're already partnering with some of the biggest names and labs in the world, and hundreds of developers are already building on Reactor. The World Model era starts now.

Today, we’re thrilled to share that our friends at @TrajectoryLabs have officially launched from stealth!!! We first met Ronak a few days before Delta was founded in February 2025, and it’s been an incredible journey seeing him grow from his time at Windsurf, to DeepMind, and now to Trajectory. The Trajectory team has seen Delta’s full trajectory, and now we’re incredibly excited for the world to see theirs!! 🚀

Predicting that by 2030, we'll be trialing a miraculous (GLP-1 tier) sleep drug that halves the hours of sleep we need with little to no side effects and that social companies (Bytedance, Meta) will be over the moon b/c they'll have three more hours of monetizable screen time
