Yay! I had an awesome first day at #dotdotAstro/@dotastronomy! It's my first conference with "unconference" sessions and they're such an amazing way to further discussions from talks and make everything more interactive.

Day One of #dotdotastro is complete! The format lends itself quite well to the online world, and I'm happy that the changes we've made make it better than just an online version. Day two is in two days. Day three is in 9 days. Simple!

Working with @TheNStarman, we built a #dotAstro outreach program geared toward rural teens (often predisposed to working with their hands) to look at Galactic structure (and the underlying dark matter distribution) through home demo and renovation.
