“....they had a licence to kill about 150 deer. They routinely kill about 800 to 1000 possums and 500 wallabies every year, along with a few ducks.” "So, more than 1500 animals die each year to grow about 75ha of peas for our freezers.“ @SBakerMD thescottishfarmer.co.uk/news…

Co-founder of Veganuary says you'll be ok for a month - even with a bad diet - but longer than that and you'd better plan i.e. supplement for the gaps (which they don't warn you about clearly enough) zoeharcombe.com/2020/01/is-v…

Omnivore, vegan, keto, Nordic, spaceman, whatever- this is quite possibly the simplest explanation of how to not be sick and fat!

So one must believe hominids ate toxic saturated fats over 3 million years of evolution, until the great day roughly 100 years ago when we learned to extract healthful unsaturated fats out of seeds. This absurd idea persists only because seed oils are obscenely profitable.
Getting ready to try the next fad diet? Maybe you should think again. A doctor writes on how to be healthy, and describes the steps in just 48 words. nyti.ms/2ZOnWuN Don’t smoke. Get vaccinated. Avoid trans fats. Replace saturated fats with unsaturated if you can.

Meat and dairy are mostly produced locally. Not nearly as "bad for the planet" as out of season fruits and vegetables flown and trucked thousands of miles in plastic packaging. San Francisco vegans are eating blueberries from Chile right now.

So glad to not be alone in this mindset.
All things that I do to control what’s going on in the Middle East: . . . . . . . . So I’ll just focus on strengthening my body and mind, taking care of my family and not living in fear

Thank you for sticking to the science and not feelings or personal taste @BioLayne
I interviewed the top 2 exercise scientists in the world whose work was cited by Wilks in the @joerogan debate. They used words like “misrepresented” and “weak science” to describe what they heard on the podcast. Don’t miss my full analysis: biolayne.com/articles/resear…

Ten companies now control the entire world’s nutrition. Together they are worth greater than $1 Trillion. What do they sell? Carbs, sugar, grains snd cheap vegetable oils. #veganism is the best thing that ever happened to the processed food industry. They love it!

Very, very predictable. Vegan aims to have veganism protected under the Equality Act. This would lead to claims of victimisation by meat retailers & consumers. Another win for Big Food. Ethical vegan' asks courts to treat veganism the same as religion lbcnews.co.uk/uk-news/ethica…

Arguing that "carnivores kill cattle but vegans kill field mice" is the wrong way to compare the two, as it draws a false moral/environmental equivalence. Monoculture crops are vastly more devastating than the "dead mice" argument suggests. To understand why, you need to grasp...

Just finished my breakdown of the @lightningwilks vs. @chriskresser debate on @joerogan podcast. It's longer than my analysis of the film 😭. Over 10,000 words. Please be patient with posting the breakdown, it will take a while. Recording a video which will go up earlier
