Today, RBC in partnership with @GOAL3_WAH and @expertisefrance presented the findings from the study “Emergency and Critical Care Assessment (ECCA) for paediatric patients in Rwanda” The findings from the study provides a comprehensive assessment of the current state of neonatal and pediatric ECC and the urgent need to address the identified gaps in staffing, training, equipment, and health information systems to ensure better availability of essential ECC procedures in #public hospitals across #Rwanda . Emergency and critical care services are essential for providing immediate and lifesaving interventions to patients experiencing severe medical emergencies. The effectiveness of these services is crucial for improving patient survival, recovery, and reducing long-term complications, especially in neonatal and pediatric care. #GlobalHealth #Pediatrics
