We need to do the same @GovPritzker in Illinois. How do we make this happen?
BREAKING NEWS: @CAgoverner signed #AB2080 into law! Thank you @GavinNewsom for taking this historic step to address that our patent populations in California are not represented in our physician workforce. AB2080 (Introduced by Assembly Members Dr.Joaquin Arambula and Eduardo Garcia) asks for transparency from the University of California by sharing data via an annual medical school enrollment report, including first-gen students, Pell Grant recipients, multilingual students, Community colleges, State colleges, and more. We are incredible thankful for the leadership from the large coalition behind National Latino Physician Day and proud of the co-sponsor. #HealthCareEquity #DiversityinMedicine #AB2080 #NationalLatinoPhysicianDay #DoctorShortageCrisis #PhysicianShortageCrisis #MedTwitter

Grateful for MY hospital— Valley Children’s Hospital to recognize the grassroots work for creating National Latino Physician Day! As we enter into the third year of this nationwide effort, I am grateful for having support to be able to do this work as a full time pediatric hand surgeon. A lot this support also comes from my team within Plastic Surgery and our Hand Surgery teams. The other vital area of support is from my wife Ashley! It was nice to have my family at the event earlier this week — the kids loved being secretive to surprise me and also the desserts they got at the end 😂 Medical staff champion in the community 2024, Board of trustees meritorious service award! #Nationallatinophysicianday #nationallatinaphysicianday #nationallatinxphysicianday #latinomedicine #latinoexcellence #nlpd2024 #doctorshortagecrisis #physicianshortagecrisis

A7: By increasing awareness through targeted outreach, providing Spanish-language materials, and building trust with community leaders. There's also a need to address immigration concerns, offer flexible scheduling, and cover trial-related expenses. #SaludTues #LatinoCancer
Q7: How can we boost Latino cancer clinical trial participation? #SaludTues #LatinoCancer

No sé quien necesite leer esto, pero el ejercicio sirve para mucho más que “perder grasa”. Nos enseña disciplina, constancia, método y nos impulsa a creer en nosotros mismos. Más pesas Menos drama.
