Today in a bookshop, I saw this book about french graphic design. I was curious to see if webdesign was part of *their definition* of Graphic design. Answer is no. There is no mention of screen-based design. Absolutely no webdesign.
Considering the impact the web has on our contemporary graphic culture, and the work injected by talented designers into screen-based projects, this is a shame. I find really problematic that "If it’s not printed, it’s not graphic design".
