A lesser known feature of @Azure_Synapse is the "Shared Metadata Model"; auto-synchronize tables created via Spark with objects you can query via SQL Serverless. This blog by @edfreeman_ highlights the benefits & trade-offs vs SQL Serverless VIEWs.

Azure Synapse Analytics devs need to be assigned a role within Synapse Studio in order to access the GUI. The Azure CLI provides one way of doing this, which can be done by any Owner or Contributor of the Azure Synapse Analytics resource. By @edfreeman_
