Can we all sing a praise song for Darnella Frazier who had the presence of mind to film that video that made such a difference in this case and now must live with the memories that will walk alongside her for the rest of her years

HB 1570 was just passed through both chambers in the Arkansas legislature, banning trans youth from accessing health care and health insurance coverage that we deserve and need. Our rights and lives are under attack. Governor Hutchinson must veto this bill.

It delights me to think that what feels historical and amazing to us today—a woman sworn in to the vice presidency—will seem normal, obvious, "of course" to Kamala's grand-nieces as they grow up. And they will be right.

The last California Senate appointment before today: 30 years ago, after Republican Sen. Pete Wilson ran for and won the governorship over Democrat Dianne Feinstein. Wilson then appointed state Sen. John Seymour to his Senate seat, but Seymour was defeated in 1992 by Feinstein.

Now to explain this to my kids like the plot of Frozen2
San Geronimo Creek was dammed in the 1920s to make a swimming pool not knowing it cut off the spawning grounds of Coho Salmon. Now, nearly a century later, the conservation group known as SPAWN is removing it. sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/20…

As I explained to the Gap, I already have three pairs of pants, so I'm all set for next decade or so. I think this plan makes more sense:

Crying in solidarity with @VanJones68
Today is a good day. It’s easier to be a parent this morning. Character MATTERS. Being a good person MATTERS. This is a big deal. It’s easy to do it the cheap way and get away with stuff — but it comes back around. Today is a good day. #PresidentBiden #VotersDecided

"Think of a state where only Democrats vote by mail. In such a state, 100% of mailed ballots will be for Democrats in every county -- in the predominantly Democratic counties, there will be lots of mail ballots, and in the Republican ones, there won’t be that many."
Got a little post on the liveblog about why the mail vote in blue counties is not that much bluer than the mail vote in red counties. fivethirtyeight.com/live-blo…
