My Nasa Virtual Guest passport got filled up, this is a nice way to track the launches that you witnessed virtually. @isro can boost engagement with a similar programme. #ISROfixYourPRnasa.gov/nasa-virtual-guest-…
I got refunded for this stunt lol 😆 i didn't want that, I'm saying simple thing, time is money, be respectful, communicate honestly lol that is all, this app clearly communicates unreal expectations
This is a reality that China operates under but USA and Europe dare not declare, we do not need sovereign data centres we need to be in a position to gatekeep and dictate access to orbit. Anchor customer globally is going to be govts. We need next level space diplomacy now!
Launching rockets is not about making money. It’s about owning a choke point the entire Orbital infrastructure depends upon. Thats far more powerful than EBIDTA margins. Astrobase’s FFSC engine will change India’s space trajectory.
Have you ever wanted to have your name 'Roman' a million miles away?
Now you can! Send your name along the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, scheduled to launch Aug. 30, 2026!

Submissions close July 12.
ALT A person in a head-to-toe white clean room suit holds a large purple "boarding pass" for NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope in Goddard's large cleanroom. The boarding pass includes an image of the 18 detectors, an artist concept image of the telescope, a QR code, and the NASA logo. "Roman Telescope" is written where the name would go.
ALT The plate attached to the Roman telescope, where a memory card containing names will be attached. It's a tall, thin, rectangular silver plate. At the top of the plate is the stylized Nancy Grace Roman name logo. Below is the silhouette of Roman's 18-square detectors in their iconic arch shape. Text below that reads "NASA's first chief astronomer, Nancy Grace Roman, persevered through barriers and made powerful space telescopes a reality. She envisioned a world where everyone had access to, and enthusiasm for, science. This observatory is the continuation of her legacy and dream." Below the text is an illustration of Dr. Roman looking up, next to her name and the years 1925-2018. Below the years is a small box where the memory card will be affixed. The plate is held down with two large bolts at the top and bottom.
ALT The fully assembled Roman telescope in the clean room, standing upright. It's a silver cylinder with solar panels peeking out from behind both sides like wings. The hood is deployed, like a black sun visor on a baseball cap. Orange lifts and people in white cleanroom suits surrounded the telescope, highlighting how large it is. The unfolded lifts only reach about one-quarter of the way up the telescope's body. Instrumentation and cables are visible in a section about one-third of the way up the body. Thousands of tiny squares on the wall behind the telescope are air filters for the clean room.
The first pictures from the spaceport of India’s first privately built orbital rocket.
For those following closely: Vikram-1's Stage 2, Kalam-250, is now fully integrated inside SHAR, Sriharikota. Flex nozzle, actuators, and Interstages 1_2L & 1_2U mounted and assembled. Our first complete integration. Final assembly of remaining components and stages is underway—we're steadily progressing toward launch.

Launch Update: @JAXA_en has successfully launched the H3 rocket from Tanegashima Space Center. This was the first flight since December's failure with the Michibiki No. 5 satellite. It also marked the debut of the H3-30 configuration: 3 LE-9 engines, ZERO strap-on solid rocket boosters the cheapest variant in the H3 lineup. Onboard: a dummy satellite (for flight data verification) 6 small university/org satellites. #H3#JAXA#JAPAN
Which auroral form is on your bucket list - which auroral form you have not seen yet, but you really want to? For me at lower mid latitude (45°N MLAT) it is definitely Giant Blue Rays and STEVE Picket Fence.

Update: The CME associated with M1.8 flare from AR 4461 on 6 June missed the Earth. There was no geomagnetic storm at all. No auroras in India's skies, sorry? This post is dedicated to all the poor aurora chasers in Mumbai, and the Nordic country of Switzerland in Central Europe.
You need to get called out too @IndiaToday. I actually like your science team, you are among the best in the country! Please do not succumb to pressure like this! 🥲 indiatoday.in/science/story/…
@googlenews you have killed journalism. Take a bow, congrats! You have done an unimaginable amount of evil, your karmic payback will be in excess of filling three bullock carts with your exoskeletons in lives spent as insects. This is punishment for pishach killing shudra.
