Three words: Markerless Motion Capture 🤯 This is a 9-person #mocap test, all WITHOUT suits! Happy I have the chance to experiment with tools like Move.ai. I'm even more excited to see how these tools can be used to democratize 3D content creation.

Krishna has built the most agi-pilled finance team in the world.
Krishna Rao is the CFO of Anthropic, and this is his first podcast appearance. He joined the company two years ago when run-rate revenue was about $250M. Today it is $30B. He has helped raise ~$75B and is responsible for the procurement and allocation of compute. I feel lucky we get to hear what it is like to sit inside a company this consequential at a moment this pivotal. We discuss: - The cone of uncertainty - How he allocates compute across Trainium, TPUs, and GPUs - What investors misunderstand about model companies - Why the returns to frontier intelligence keep rising - Platform vs application and where Anthropic builds its own products - How Anthropic uses Claude internally I have asked my closing question about the kindest thing more than 500 times. Krishna's answer is one I have never heard before. Enjoy! How do you get Claude Code to check its own work before handing it back? Watch how you can encode your manual checks so Claude closes its own feedback loop:

Today I'm publishing a new essay, Policy on the AI Exponential. AI is progressing extremely fast—much faster than the policy process was built to handle. The essay lays out where I think the technology is now, and the action needed to close the gap: darioamodei.com/post/policy-…

Our internal data shows Claude is accelerating AI development—a possible path to recursive self-improvement, or AI autonomously building a more capable successor. It’s happening faster than we thought, and the implications deserve greater attention. anthropic.com/institute/recu…

Workflows are the biggest upgrade to Claude Code’s capabilities since skills and subagents. I dove deep into it with @sidbid to figure out best practices, examples and more.  I’m particularly excited about the non-technical tasks it enables for Claude Code.

Today Mayor @ZohranKMamdani announced his housing plan to build 200,000 new homes, protect tenants, and invest in public housing. #BlockByBlock The location he chose: Gowanus. It was a delight to join him beforehand to tour the results of our work there: New affordable homes for families & young people. Resilient open space. Affordable artist studios. $200M in improvements for NYCHA residents. I was proud to lead the effort that delivered those results in Gowanus. Proud today to see it serve as a blueprint for the kind of growth New Yorkers deserve. And excited to get to Congress to fight like hell for the resources to help make it happen.

For an upcoming project at @active_theory I've been experimenting with a file format i'm calling ActiveFrame. Like a video format, leveraging H.264 compression, allows random-access to any frame and it's fully hardware accelerated. No runtime depedencies, works eveywhere.
