The anti-CTU folks backed by Juan Rangel and Paul Vallas are sending out texts against Ellen Rosenfeld using Vallas name. Vallas isn’t mayor in large part because he got stomped in the 47th ward. CTU/Johnson are definitely on their back feet here but this is a weird choice

BREAKING: Mayor Brandon Johnson this week asked CPS CEO Pedro Martinez for his resignation and Martinez refused, according to multiple sources who spoke directly with Martinez. This sets up a potentially costly severance package for CPS if the board moves to terminate him.
